Ya 'an is located in the magical zone of 30 degrees north latitude, which is the most suitable place for green tea growth in China and even the world. Its excellent rainfall, sunshine, foggy climate, acidic and fertile soil, rich biodiversity, superior natural environment and other natural conditions have created the "Mengding Mountain Tea" that has been praised for thousands of years.
Mengdingshan tea is the earliest artificially planted tea in China and even in the world. According to written records and historical evidence, Mengding Mountain is the earliest place where people make tea in the world, and it is also the birthplace of world tea culture. During the Ganlu period of the Western Han Dynasty (53 BC-the first 50 years), Wu Lizhen (now Yandao County, Ya 'an) domesticated seven kinds of wild tea trees between the five peaks of Mengding Mountain (now Huangchayuan), setting a historical precedent for the earliest recorded tea in the world. Wu Lizhen became the first man who made tea artificially in the world with written records, and was honored as the "ancestor of tea planting".
The quality of tea in Mengding Mountain is very good. The total amount of water extract is as high as 42%-46%, the total amount of free amino acids is as high as 5.5%-6.5%, and the total amount of tea polyphenols is 28%-32%. It has the sensory characteristics of "beautiful shape, moist color, fragrant taste and sweet taste" and the unique "tea nature" of "warm tea nature" and "unique taste".
The representative teas of Mengding Mountain Tea are Mengding Mountain Gan Lu, Mengding Mountain Yellow Bud and Mengding Mountain Stone Flower. Among them, Mengding Yellow Bud is the pioneering work of China Yellow Tea, which has a unique "yellow-blocking" process, is rich in theaflavins known as "soft gold" in tea, has a sweet and fragrant aroma, tastes fresh and mellow, and has a unique function of improving human immunity.
