Motherboard:

Computer chassis motherboard, also called mainboard, systemboard or motherboard; it is divided into two types: commercial motherboard and industrial motherboard. It is installed in the chassis and is one of the most basic and important components of the microcomputer.

The motherboard is generally a rectangular circuit board, on which are installed the main circuit systems that make up the computer. Generally, there are BIOS chips, I/O control chips, key and panel control switch interfaces, indicator light connectors, and expansion plugs. Slots, motherboards and plug-in cards’ DC power supply connectors and other components.

Repair method:

Motherboard failure often manifests as system startup failure, no display on the screen, sometimes it can start and sometimes it cannot start, and other fault phenomena that are difficult to judge intuitively.

When inspecting and repairing motherboard faults, the maintenance principle of "one look, two listens, three smells, and four touches" is generally adopted. That is to observe the fault phenomenon, listen to the alarm sound, smell whether there is any peculiar smell, touch whether some parts are hot, etc.
