Roewe IMAX8 is the first MPV product launched by SAIC Roewe. This new car has just recently been launched in the domestic market. Recently, it was reported that SAIC plans to promote the export of Roewe IMAX8 to overseas markets, and its first stop will be the European market. Since SAIC's MG brand comes from the UK, and considering the acceptance of the brand by local consumers, it is very likely that iMAX8 will be exported under the MG brand in the future. It is worth mentioning that in the field of automobile export, changing product trademark logos is a very normal phenomenon. For example, the Baojun 530, which is a hot seller in China, is exported to overseas markets with Wuling, Baojun, Chevrolet and other brand labels depending on the region. At present, the domestic automobile market is highly competitive. Many brands regard overseas markets as the next growth point for brand development, and some brands have proposed their own globalization strategies. To be honest, Made in China is now on the rise. In my opinion, it is only a matter of time for Chinese automobile brands to go global. After years of in-depth cultivation and development of SAIC's overseas export markets, it currently has good market performance in Southeast Asia, Europe and other places. Taking the British market where the Roewe IMAX8 is about to be exported as an example, the MG brand’s electric vehicles exported to Europe have achieved very good results. In the first nine months of this year, the UK sold 4,024 pure electric vehicles, ranking fifth among local pure electric vehicle brands. Currently, as the hometown of MG brand, MG brand has 112 dealers in the UK. These dealers sell both MG fuel vehicles and pure electric vehicles. Since the European market is the regional market that attaches most importance to new energy vehicles besides China, the main direction of domestic new energy vehicle exports is the European market. At the same time, the export of new energy vehicles is also the main driving force for SAIC in Europe. Although Roewe IMAX8 only has a fuel version, pure electric versions and plug-in hybrid versions will be launched in subsequent plans. Therefore, the Roewe IMAX8 exported to the European market is likely to be a new energy vehicle. The news that Roewe IMAX8 will be exported to the European market will also play a certain role in promoting the domestic sales of this model. As we all know, both fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles must fully comply with Europe's strict product standards before they can enter the European market. Since Roewe IMAX8 has been planned to be exported to the European market, this fully demonstrates that the quality of its products must be guaranteed, and this guarantee is even more convincing than the brand's additional crash tests. As the first MPV model launched by the Roewe brand, the Roewe IMAX8 can be said to have arrived at just the right time. Recently, the Ministry of Public Security has implemented 12 new policies to relax inspection exemption standards and driving license age restrictions to comprehensively improve the MPV market. At the same time, with the increase in domestic families with two children and more consumers becoming more familiar with and accepting of large and medium-sized MPVs, the domestic large- and medium-sized MPV market is likely to usher in a sales boom.
