Huangmei County belongs to Huanggang City, Hubei Province. Huangmei County originated in the Han Dynasty, formerly known as Xunyang. Later, because there are Huangmei Mountain and Huangmei Water in the north of the county, it was named Huangmei. Huangmei County, with a total area of 170 1 km2, is located in the east of Hubei Province, on the north bank of the Yangtze River, and is known as the "gateway to eastern Hubei".
