What is the application procedure for Saudi trademarks?
An application for trademark registration in Saudi Arabia must be submitted to the Trademark Office, which will examine the registrability of the trademark and whether there is a prior conflict. If the Trademark Office finds any problems with the application, it will notify the applicant accordingly, and the applicant must make corresponding amendments within the next 90 days, otherwise the application will be invalid. If the Trademark Office makes a rejection decision, the applicant may appeal to the special committee within 30 days after the rejection decision is made. If the application fails because the application is not revised as required, you can also apply to the Committee within 30 days after the failure. The decision made by the Committee can be further appealed to the Appeal Committee within the next 30 days, and the Appeal Committee will make a final decision. After the trademark is accepted, it will be announced in the official announcement. Anyone can raise an objection within 30 days after the announcement, and then the applicant has 30 days to reply to the objection. If you don't reply within the time limit, the application will be regarded as automatic waiver. For the objection ruling, an application for review can be filed within the next 30 days.
