The Hongxing family is not a famous Guangxu porcelain master.
Hongxing is actually a registered trademark of Yixinggong Ceramics Co., Ltd., whose founder is Hong Chunzhu. Its brand features antique porcelain and focuses on high-end collection porcelain.
Guangxu porcelain is one of the traditional Chinese handicrafts with high artistic and economic value. During the Guangxu period, both official kilns and private kilns produced mass production. The production of official kilns was dominated by imperial kilns, while the production of private kilns flourished everywhere. Antique porcelain is a variety that imitates the famous porcelain of previous generations. The most typical ones in the Ming Dynasty are the porcelains from Chenghua that imitate the five famous kilns of the Song Dynasty: Ru, Guan, Ge, Jun and Ding. There were many antique porcelains from the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong dynasties in the Qing Dynasty.
