Liaoning Daoguang 25th Group Manchu Brewing Co., Ltd. has a profound cultural heritage and a long history, and is quite famous in the Chinese liquor industry. In the 15th year of the Republic of China (AD 1926), when General Zhang Xueliang was planning to build Huludao Military Port and Jinzhou Jiaotong University, he praised Lingchuan wine and wrote the words "wine among the immortals". In June 1996, when the old factory was relocating, four wooden wine seas (ancient wine containers) from the Yisi year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1845 AD) were accidentally unearthed that had been hidden underground for 152 years. , containing four tons of original wine. The State Administration of Cultural Heritage and the Jinzhou Municipal People's Government organized archaeological and wine-making experts to identify these tribute wines, which had been stored in caves for a century and a half, as "rare in the world and rare national treasures." Experts named it "Daoguang Twenty-Five".
The excavation of "Daoguang Twenty-Five" has attracted the attention of leaders at all levels of the country. Li Tieying, former member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and State Councilor, visited the "Lingchuan Winery in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province" on October 22, 1997. "Opinions on the Treatment of Liquor Unearthed in Cave Collection" gave instructions: "Scientific protection should be adopted as much as possible to prevent volatilization, and small quantities should be fully utilized if sold. Please discuss with relevant experts." The Jinzhou Municipal People's Government held a press conference and report meeting on the 25th Day of Daoguang Day at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on January 11, 1998. With the approval of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, on October 26, 1999, a special Daoguang 25 tribute wine auction hosted by China Guardian International Auction Co., Ltd. was held in Beijing. One hundred kilograms of tribute wine was auctioned for a sky-high price of 3.5 million yuan! On July 6, 2003, at China Guardian's 2003 Guangzhou auction, 93 kilograms of Daoguang 25th Tribute Liquor was sold for a sky-high price of 5.58 million yuan, setting the world's highest price for Chinese liquor and writing a new chapter in the history of the development of Liaoning Daoguang 25th Liquor Group. On December 27, 1999, with the approval of the State Council, the unearthed Mujiuhai and part of the original wine were collected by the National Museum of China.
