TM on a trademark has its special meaning. In fact, TM logo does not protect the trademark. It is different from R. This can prevent others from filing repeated applications, and also means that existing trademark holders have the priority to use it. With the circle R, it is the mark of "registered trademark", which means that the trademark has been registered in the State Trademark Office and has been examined and approved by the Trademark Office to become a registered trademark.
