It stipulated for the first time that trademark rights should be protected by law. It is considered to be the first country in the world to establish a trademark registration system.

The "Industrial Property Code" covers industrial property rights such as patent rights, trademark rights, and copyrights. It provided the basic legal framework for the protection of industrial property rights and had a profound impact on the subsequent intellectual property legal system.
