The Green Food Mark is a quality certification mark officially registered by the Green Food Development Center of the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. It consists of three parts: the sun above, the leaves below and the buds in the middle, symbolizing natural ecology; the color is green, symbolizing life, agriculture and environmental protection; the number is a perfect circle, which means protection. The logo and font of AA grade green food are green and the background color is white. The logo and font of Grade A green food are white and the background color is green. The whole picture depicts the harmonious vitality under the bright sunshine, telling people that green food is a safe and pollution-free food that comes from a pure and good ecological environment and can bring strong vitality to people.

What are the common types: Applicants can submit a formal written trademark registration application to the provincial green food entrusted management agency, and fill in the "Green Food Label Application Form" (in duplicate) and "Enterprise Production Survey" surface". After receiving the application, the provincial green food entrusted management agencies will designate full-time managers to conduct actual investigations and conduct environmental monitoring and evaluation of the atmosphere, soil, and water where the product raw materials are located. After passing the preliminary review, the green food entrusted management agency will report to the China Green Food Exhibition Center, and the China Green Food Development Center will review the above application materials. If qualified, the provincial green food committee management agency will sample the declared products, and the designated food monitoring agency will conduct testing in accordance with green food standards. Applications from students who fail the exam will not be accepted this year. The China Green Food Development Center will conduct the final review of the products that pass the test. The China Green Food Development Center will number the above-mentioned qualified products and issue a green food mark use certificate.

Trademark registration covers food categories: Category 29: pickled products, fish products, dried fruits, edible fungi, tofu products, edible oil, etc.; Category 30: condiments, pastries, convenience foods, etc.; Category 31: fresh fruits, vegetables, live animals, etc.; Category 32: beverages, juices, mineral water, beer, etc.; Category 33 is alcoholic beverages, such as white wine, red wine, liquor, etc. China's food industry is forced to use registered trademarks not for tobacco products. However, if the trademark used by an enterprise is not registered, it does not enjoy the exclusive right to use the trademark. As long as someone else registers the trademark first, the first user of the trademark can no longer use the trademark. What’s more serious is that an unregistered trademark may be identical or similar to a registered trademark used on the same or similar goods, leading to infringement.
