Yueqing City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province, China, and is managed by Wenzhou City, a prefecture-level city.

The vast majority of Yueqing residents are immigrants from ancient Fujian. There are four main dialects: Liushi dialect in the west of the county, Yueqing dialect in the county (Chengguan), and Hongqiao dialect in the east part of the county. The northern part belongs to the Taizhou Huangyan dialect area, generally bounded by Qingjiang River. The Ou dialect is also called the Nanwu dialect and is mainly spoken in the areas on both sides of the Ou River, so it is called the Ou dialect.

Accents vary from place to place in the Ou dialect area, which is called "accent style". Mainly include: Yueqing dialect, Liushi dialect, Wenzhou dialect, Ruian dialect, etc. Among them, the Liushi dialect has a population of about 500,000 and is spoken in the Liushi Plain and some islands in Dongtou County.
