The big-mouthed and cute prototype of Shanghaojia’s mascot "Cuckoo Bird" is actually the pelican in the Swan Lake in Shanghai Zoo [ tí hú]. In the 1990s, Shanghaojia Group also adopted pelicans from the Shanghai Zoo.
