At noon, after dinner at the Kistler Garden Hotel, we arrived at the home of Mr. Xia's friend Mr. Zhu and his son's homestay. According to Mr. Xia, after graduating from normal school, Mr. Zhu was assigned to Sanshandao Primary School as a teacher and taught until he retired. It was very valuable for decades.

The homestay is antique, and every bonsai in the garden is made by him. The foot piles are vigorous and powerful, and the trunk is old and naturally bent, which makes people linger.

The decoration of logs in the hotel lobby looks simple and natural, and it feels so warm. In the afternoon, Teacher Xia had tea and chat with old friends in the hotel, and we continued to explore.

Followed boss Xu to Leshan Hall. The door of Leshan Hall was closed. Boss Xu knew him well and pushed it away.

Walking into Leshan Hall, there is a brick-carved tea market gatehouse.

The gatehouse was built in the Qing Dynasty. Its brick carvings have five levels from the outside to the inside, and the pictures are very vivid and exquisite, which may be one of the best brick carvings in Suzhou. The picture is divided into three layers: upper, middle and lower. There are five drawing rooms on the upper floor, such as "Fishing and Farming". There are three brick carvings in the middle: Twelve worshippers of Ganluo, Guo Ziyi's birthday and Golden Branch. There are three sculptures in the lower part, such as "Harmonious Two Immortals" and "Brocade Book". In the middle of the gatehouse, there are four characters "Heaven will have two phoenixes (land)". The characters are lifelike and well preserved. It's really a masterpiece of brick carving in Jiangnan.

After visiting Leshan Hall, Boss Xu has something to do this afternoon. We followed Mr. Lvliang and walked along the island road. Lu Kai, an old classmate, led a group of friends and began to recite ancient poems. I can't recite it, but listen, the word "giant Buddha" came to me before I knew it.

There is a big scarlet letter "Buddha" on the cliff in the distance. The word "Buddha" was inscribed by Master Chu Guang, abbot of Hanshan Temple. It is 8.8 meters long and 5.8 meters wide.

In front is Sanfeng Temple. Along the bluestone path, we walked into Sanfeng Temple. Sanfeng Temple is not solemn. A Buddhist inside told us that these three peaks were built in the 13th year of Xian Tong, Tang Yizong (AD 872), and the monks really started the mountain. Rebuilt in Ming Dynasty, renamed Sanfeng Temple. There used to be more than 1000 temples and monasteries, which were later destroyed. Now there is an ancient well in the Tang Dynasty.

There is an introduction card next to the well. The ancient octagonal well in Tang Dynasty was built in Xianfeng 13 and was used by Sanfeng Temple in 872 AD.

Xianfeng 13 is wrong, it should be Xian Tong 13.
