Haojue Xinyuexing brake pads are the same as Haojue Suzuki.
There is no fixed cycle for motorcycle brake pad replacement. Some brake pads need to be replaced after driving tens of thousands of kilometers, and some brake pads can still be used after driving hundreds of thousands of kilometers, so this is different from motorcycles. The driver's driving habits, road conditions, the wear characteristics of the brake pads themselves, the configuration of the vehicle, etc. The frequency of braking is different for each driver, so you can only check it regularly and then determine whether to replace the brakes.
How to judge when it’s time to replace the brake pads on a motorcycle:
1. Sound. When there is a very harsh and sharp friction sound when braking, it must be replaced, because the two sides of the brake pads The limit mark has directly rubbed the brake disc, proving that the brake pad has exceeded the limit.
2. Thickness. The thickness of a new brake pad is about 1.5cm. When the thickness of the brake pad is less than 0.5cm with the naked eye, it must be replaced. There is also a raised mark on both sides of each brake pad. If the thickness of the brake pad is parallel to this mark, this is when the brake is at its thinnest and must be replaced.
3. Strength. It feels very difficult to step on the brakes. It is often necessary to step on the brakes to the deepest point. When you feel that the brakes are not sensitive and the braking response is slow, you should replace the brake pads.
To extend the replacement cycle of brake pads, you must have good driving habits and make good use of engine braking. In order to ensure safety, the maintenance technician must be asked to carefully check the condition of the brake pads every time. It is not recommended to brake suddenly frequently. When encountering a red light, you can release the accelerator and coast, reduce the speed by yourself, and lightly apply the brake when you are about to stop.
