Xinghai Piano Group Co., Ltd. is a Chinese and Western musical instrument manufacturing enterprise restructured from Beijing Xinghai Musical Instruments United Co., Ltd. in 1994. It is a large national industrial enterprise with the Beijing Piano Factory established in 1949 as its core factory and its subsidiaries. Nine branches (including four industrial branches, four commercial branches, and one property company), five holding joint ventures, two joint-stock companies, a musical instrument research institute, and a music training school. In 2003 and 2006, the "Xinghai" brand piano was twice rated as "China Famous Brand" by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
