What are the 45 trademark categories?

Members of the Nice Union adopt the International Classification of Goods and Services for Trademark Registration (the Nice Classification). The current Nice Classification divides goods and services into 45 major categories, including goods in categories 1 to 34 and services in categories 35 to 45.

Class 1

Chemicals used in industry, science, photography, agriculture, horticulture, forestry, unprocessed artificial synthetic resins, unprocessed plastic substances, fertilizers, synthetics for fire extinguishing Preparations for quenching and welding metals, chemicals for preserving food, tanning agents, adhesives for industrial use.

Class 2:

Pigments, varnishes, lacquers, rust and wood preservatives, colorants, mordants, unprocessed natural resins, painters, decorators, printers Metal foil and metal powder are used by merchants and artists.

Category 3:

Pharmaceuticals, medical and veterinary preparations; medical hygiene preparations; nutritional foods and substances for medical or veterinary use, baby food; dietary supplements for human and animal use ; Plasters, dressing materials; tooth filling materials, dental wax; disinfectants; preparations for destroying pests; fungicides, herbicides.

Category 7:
