With the development of Moutai, it is now a world-renowned liquor brand. Many people want to own a bottle or even more of Moutai to drink or collect; however, the Chinese people’s ability to counterfeit cannot be tolerated. Be careful, there are records of "fake roast chicken" and "fake boots" in "The Scholars". It can be seen that China's counterfeiting technology has a long history, and it is even more so now. A large number of fake Maotai are flooding the market. How should we identify them?
Today, the editor will teach you how to identify the "moon in the mirror" and "flowers in the water" through three places, namely boxes, cups, and bottles. As long as you can remember and master these tips, Not difficult.
Box
①The packaging box of real Moutai is specially customized and there will be creases on the edges
②The barcode of Zhen Moutai is clear and the logo is bright in color
p>
③The sealing tape of the real Moutai is wider
④The outer box number of the real Moutai is sprayed on by an inkjet printer, and the numbers are disconnected.
Cup
Real Moutai: On the Moutai wine glass provided, the Moutai Group LOGO is in bright and clear colors.
Fake Moutai: On the Moutai wine glass provided, the Moutai Group LOGO is darker in color and has poor brightness.
Real Moutai: The glass material of the wine glass is excellent and the whole is transparent and bright.
Fake Maotai: The glass material of the wine glass is inferior, and the overall wine glass is dull and has low gloss (needs comparison).
Real Moutai: The base of the cup is smooth and round, and feels smooth.
Fake Maotai: The cup base is poorly processed, and there are often bulging edges of untreated glass, giving it a poor hand feel.
Above, cup identification can play a certain reference role. When the authenticity of a bottle of wine is uncertain, it can be used to assist identification and make a final judgment based on all doubtful points.
Moreover, its applicability is only for Moutai with a cup. For example, Five-Star Moutai does not come with a cup, and Feitian Moutai comes with a cup.
The next step is the highlight!
Bottle
New Moutai refers to the Moutai produced after 2009 with similar cloth as bottle cap seal. Because the production time is not long, the characteristics of the genuine product have not been fully understood, making it difficult to identify. Counterfeiters seized this opportunity and produced a large number of counterfeit products and flooded the market. It's hard to distinguish the true from the false.
However, a fake is a fake. No matter how well it is made, you can tell it apart as long as you identify it carefully~
1. Cloth cover seal
It is said to be cloth The cover is actually a red plastic film.
See if it "pulls out the head". Some counterfeiters have learned that the seal has the elasticity feature of stretching. After baking the hood with a heater, they remove the hood. After drinking the wine, they refill the hood with low-grade wine and put it on to pass it off as genuine.
The main way to identify this kind of wine is whether the sealing collar is flat and regular, and whether it is too loose. Xin Mao's headgear can generally rotate. But most of them require a little effort to turn. If it is very loose, the hem is very wide, the closing is not good, and it can rotate with a slight twist, you should pay attention, it is very likely that it is bald wine.
2. Look at the font of the inkjet code
Remember the word "2". There are two small dots in the middle of the word 2 that are horizontally parallel and almost overlap. At first glance, it looks like a small knot on the branch. Everything else near the dot is arranged diagonally up and down. Look at Figure 1:
Also remember the characteristics of a few other numbers: 1 means wearing shoes and a hat; 6 and 9 have flat heads and flat bottoms.
Most of the dots on genuine inkjet codes can be seen clearly under a magnifying glass. If it's a mess, pay attention.
3. Look at the top graphic
There is a gear circle five-star pattern printed on the top of the headgear. It mainly depends on the ratio of the line thickness and space of the gear strokes.
The pattern is printed with slightly dimmer red paint. The size of the five-pointed star is proportional, and one of its sharp corners is aligned with a space of the circle gear, facing the middle of the space.
The stroke thickness of the outer circle of the five stars is proportionately appropriate. The proportions of spaces within circles are appropriate. Authentic product (see picture 2)
Picture 3 shows the pattern of a bottle of fake wine. By comparison, the lines are much narrower than the spaces, more than one to two (see Figure 3).
Some imitations are turned upside down and the lines are thicker than the spaces. None of it is normal.
4. Look at the adhesive tab
The adhesive area of ??the genuine cloth cover is relatively regular, straight and compliant; there is a cutout on the upper and lower sides of the pull-out ring paper. See Figure 4. The imitation is rough and unevenly applied. See Figure 5.
Picture 4
5. Look at the highlights
There are many small sequins hidden on the surface of the cloth cover. It can be seen by shining light from different angles.

Trademarks
1. Feitian logo
Judging from the current situation, the imitation Feitian logo is exactly the same as the genuine one. Not yet.
The Feitian standard is relatively obvious and easy to spot when looking at imitations. All replicas have flaws in the areas marked in the picture below.
First, one end of the pleat on the left Feitian’s right leg is not curved, while the original one is curved. See Figure 7-01.
Second, there is a bend in the middle bend of the ribbon rope connecting the trouser hem on the left leg. The genuine product has no bend. See Figure 7-02.
The third is the small opening on the right side of Feitian’s left leg, which was closed before 2010; opened in 2011; and closed after 2012. It is normal to have the phenomenon of interlacing the years before and after. See Figure 7-03.
Fourthly, Feitian’s face on the right side has been deformed, becoming thinner and ugly. See Figure 7-04.
2. Five-star label
The imitation five-star label cannot be exactly the same as the original product. Just look carefully and you can spot the problem. You must be meticulous when identifying trademarks. You cannot use banknote verification to identify wine, as some people say. That is to use banknote detection to identify wine. Especially for trademarks, they have been registered and every stroke is legal. Therefore, as long as there are inconsistent strokes, fonts, symbols, etc., it is counterfeit. This provides us with confidence in identifying trademarks.
Figure 9 is a picture of a replica. The blue pen refers to areas that are inconsistent with the original product. This is just to point out the main points. There are many discrepancies, and these are the more obvious ones.
3. Back label
The back label mainly remembers one word - the word "wine". Before about the first half of 2009, there was a horizontal stroke in the middle of the second line of the back label with the word "wine known as the national wine" without any gaps. After about the second half of the year, the horizontal stroke in the middle will not end, and there will be gaps at both ends. See Figure 11, Figure 12, and Figure 13.
Picture 11 (from February 2009, the word "wine" has a horizontal line in the middle to the end)
Picture 12 (from May 2010, the word "wine" has a horizontal line from the middle to the end)
Figure 13 (September 2011)
After mastering this point, you can pay attention to wine appreciation: if after the second half of 2009, the middle horizontal line of the wine character is the end, then it is Problem wine. It is not clear when exactly this will start in 2009. Anyway, if it appears in the second half of the year, you should be vigilant and further identify it based on other aspects. If it appears 10 years later, this bottle of wine will definitely be excluded.
4. Bottom of the bottle
The bottom of the new Mao bottle basically follows the bottom pattern of the bottle after 2005. That is, the pattern of five grains surrounding five stars. To identify the bottom of a new Mao bottle, you mainly need to check whether the shape and font of the English letters in the outer circle are full and round. The five-star pattern in the middle is too small and difficult to identify. Just check whether the pattern is correct and consistent with the genuine product.
In addition to a circle of English letters, there are also some numerical symbols on the bottom of the new Mao bottle. Such as "CKK, HB, MB, mouth" and so on. These symbols represent different manufacturers. Due to the high demand for Moutai bottles, one glass factory cannot supply all the products, and several glass factories are used to make wine bottles at the same time. In order to distinguish these glass factories, marks are printed on the bottom of the bottles. These marks respectively represent:
CKK - New Art - Guizhou Art Glass Co., Ltd.
HB——Guizhou Huaxi Glass Products Co., Ltd.
MB——Guizhou Qianmin Glass Co., Ltd. Kou - Lao MeiGong - the predecessor of Guizhou MeiGong Glass Co., Ltd. See Figures 14, 15, 16, and 17.
The bottom patterns of authentic Moutai bottles are generally relatively regular and clear. But not absolutely. Sometimes it is normal for a few unqualified bottles to miss inspection from the assembly line and enter the official packaging.
Therefore, don’t be absolute when looking at the bottom of the bottle. It must be combined with other aspects, such as seals, trademarks, etc., for identification. Don’t look at it mechanically. If a bottle of wine has one of the problems I mentioned above (hood, trademark, back label, etc.), and then there is a problem with the bottom of the bottle, the wine should be rejected.
5. Barcode and organic code
A rectangular barcode and a line of 17-digit organic code are affixed above the back label. Colorful laser highlights are hidden on authentic barcodes. If you illuminate it from the front with strong light, you can see small bright spots of color laser that change colors.
The organic code will be added after the second half of 2012. The organic code consists of 17 Arabic numerals. There will be reflection when illuminated from the front with strong light.
See Figure 20
The water in Maotai is very deep, so the above may not be completely correct. It's just my personal experience to provide reference. I hope that everyone can continue to increase experience in practice, integrate knowledge and practice, and use it freely.
