(1) The state stipulates that the following four situations are fake veterinary drugs: ① Non-veterinary drugs pretending to be veterinary drugs. ② Other kinds of veterinary drugs are passed off as this kind of veterinary drugs. ③The ingredients contained do not comply with national standards. ④The name does not comply with national standards.
(2) The state stipulates that the following five situations shall be treated as fake veterinary drugs: ① Veterinary drugs that are prohibited from use. ② Random inspections and inspections were not carried out when inspections should have been carried out. ③Deteriorated veterinary drugs. ④Contaminated veterinary drugs. ⑤The indicated indications or functional indications are beyond the scope.
In the fourth quarter of 2003, relevant national departments conducted random inspections of 6,656 batches of veterinary drugs, and 4,506 batches of qualified products, with a total pass rate of 67.7. The above data shows that substandard veterinary drug products still account for nearly 1/3.
