In our daily lives, many things need to be cleaned and disinfected over time. The first is for health, and the second is to keep the environment fresh. But many people tend to ignore one household appliance, that is, the washing machine.
The washing machine is different from other appliances in the kitchen or living room. It is not often placed in everyone's field of vision, or it does not need to be displayed to guests, so many people will ignore its "health" "degree.
Some people think that the washing machine has to pass through water every time it washes clothes. Doesn’t it mean that it has already been flushed? In fact, this problem is the same as that of the refrigerator. The refrigerator can preserve freshness but does not sterilize. The washing machine can clean clothes, but the germs on the clothes will basically remain stubbornly on the inner wall of the washing tub. This means that the more clothes you wash, the more bacteria there will be.
Let’s take a look at the daily cleaning methods of the washing machine.
The first is to make use of the original system of the washing machine. Although the washing machine itself is not sterilized, when it is cleaning, the laundry barrel inside will rotate at high speed. If there is a bactericide inside at this time, the bactericidal effect can be achieved very effectively.
We want to prepare a detergent specifically for cleaning the washing machine, pour it into the inside of the washing machine, and turn on the washing and conditioning system in standard mode. Then when it runs for about 20 to 30 minutes, pause and let the entire laundry bucket soak in disinfectant water for about half an hour, and then continue running to the end. After the water is drained, it can be dried and further sterilized.
Second, there is the decontamination operation of the washing machine refill box. This is as important as sterilizing the entire laundry tub, but the operation is much more troublesome than cleaning the laundry tub. After you put a special descaling agent into the detergent adding box of the washing machine, you can run the washing machine. After about half an hour, the descaling fluid will drain out of the drain.
Then you need to put the discharged liquid into the adding box of the washing machine again, and run the washing machine again. Repeat this many times to achieve a thorough cleaning effect. Similarly, rinse with clean water and then dry in the sun.
Third, if you don’t have a special washing machine cleaner on hand, but you have hydrogen peroxide, you can also perform a thorough sterilization of the laundry barrel. However, the method is completely different from the first method. After you fill the washing machine with water (the water level must reach the highest water level marked on the washing machine), let the washing machine soak quietly for about two hours.
Then pour two bottles of hydrogen peroxide and washing powder into it. Finally, start the standard washing process until the end, and you can perform a perfect sterilization.
Cleaning the washing machine is not troublesome, but it takes a lot of time. We can spare a weekend every three months or so, and then perform a thorough cleaning and sterilization at home. This will make you feel more at ease when doing things like washing clothes in the future.
