The differences between Chinese time-honored brands, well-known trademarks and famous trademarks:
First, the accreditation agencies are different:
Chinese time-honored brands are awarded in the name of the Ministry of Commerce. Allowed to be used in product packaging.
Well-known trademarks are recognized by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce or the People’s Court in accordance with judicial procedures and are not allowed to be used on the packaging of goods.
Famous trademarks are recognized by the provincial industrial and commercial department.
? The second is that the identification standards are different:
A well-known trademark must be known to the relevant public across the country.
A well-known trademark must be at least the province or local (city) ) is known to the relevant public.
The identification of Chinese time-honored brands is more stringent:
(1) Having trademark ownership or use rights.
(2) The brand was founded in 1956 (inclusive) before.
(3) Inherit unique products, skills or services.
(4) Have a corporate culture that inherits the excellent traditions of the Chinese nation.
(5) It has Chinese national characteristics and distinctive regional cultural characteristics, and has historical and cultural value.
(6) Have good reputation and receive wide social recognition and praise.
(7) Domestic capital and capital from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are relatively controlled, with good operating conditions and strong sustainable development capabilities.
Third, the requirements for trademark registration are different: well-known trademarks may be registered trademarks or unregistered trademarks, while Chinese time-honored brands and famous trademarks must be registered trademarks.
Personally, I believe that Chinese time-honored brands are far more important in traditional national industries than well-known trademarks and famous trademarks.
