Pinggu District, the jurisdiction of Beijing, is located in the northeast of Beijing, with a total area of 948.24 square kilometers. It is connected to sanhe city, Hebei Province in the south, Miyun District in the north, Shunyi District in the west, Jizhou District in Tianjin in the southeast and Xinglong County in Chengde City, Hebei Province in the northeast. The terrain is high in the northeast and low in the southwest. It belongs to the North Three Rivers System of Haihe River Basin, with 32 rivers in the territory, of which Chanhe River is the longest river in the territory.
