ICCP Program (International Certification Program) At present, the Middle East market has become an important area of China's foreign trade, and more and more China export enterprises sell their products to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and other countries. If you are currently planning to import imported electrical products into these countries, then the international certification scheme is what you urgently need to know and understand. The international conformity certification scheme is SASO (Saudi Arabian Standards Organization); The 1995 * * International Conformity Verification Method (ICCP) was jointly formulated with the Ministry of Commerce, which stipulated that imported goods must meet the comprehensive plan of conformity assessment, pre-shipment inspection and certification, so as to ensure that imported goods can fully meet the Saudi product standards before shipment. Since March 17, 2003, Kuwait Industrial Administration (PAI) has also started to implement ICCP plan, and most household appliances, audio-visual products and lighting products are within ICCP scope. In addition, the United Arab Emirates began to implement the ICCP plan on May 3, 2003.
The two basic elements of Sasso ICCP in Saudi Arabia are: 1) All products must comply with Saudi national technical regulations or relevant international standards; 2) Each batch of exported designated products must be accompanied by ICCP certificate (CC) for customs clearance. Designated goods that arrive at the import port of the importing country without CC certificate may be rejected, or sampling test may be required. If it does not meet the requirements of the importing country, it will be ordered to return to the port of shipment, causing unnecessary delays and losses to exporters or manufacturers.
