There are two kinds of credit card loss reporting: temporary loss reporting and permanent loss reporting. Temporary loss reporting can be cancelled, but permanent loss reporting cannot be cancelled.

Different banks have different rules. For example, China Merchants Bank only reports the loss permanently. Once the user applies for loss reporting, it takes effect immediately and is irrevocable. After applying for loss reporting, the bank will make a new card and mail it to you within 2 working days, and the amount and points in your old card will be transferred to the new card.
