I opened a card at China Merchants Bank yesterday. The account manager asked me to fill out the personal investment risk tolerance evaluation form of China Merchants Bank. Why should I fill it out?
Our personal investment risk tolerance assessment refers to the assessment of customers' risk tolerance according to the Personal Investment Risk Tolerance Assessment Form of China Merchants Bank (referred to as the assessment form) filled out by customers themselves, so as to help customers choose suitable wealth management products. Risk tolerance assessment must be carried out before purchasing wealth management products.

The customer's risk tolerance rating is divided into five grades, from low to high, namely A 1 (conservative), A2 (cautious), A3 (prudent), A4 (radical) and A5 (radical), and the corresponding product risk grades are R 1 (low-risk products), R2 (medium-low-risk products) and R3 (low-risk products).

The Bank should follow the principle of risk matching when selling wealth management products, and can only sell wealth management products with risk rating equal to or lower than its risk tolerance rating to customers.
