What if someone else's credit card doesn't fill in my phone number?
This score is discussed in two situations:
1, without repayment:
If you know nothing about being an emergency contact, and you are not familiar with the cardholder, or you don't know the cardholder at all, you don't have to return the credit card to others. Because the function of emergency contact is to provide the cardholder's whereabouts and telephone number when the cardholder fails to contact the bank within the time limit.
If you can't provide it, you can directly tell the bank that you don't know when the bank calls and ask the bank not to call again. If you call again, you can complain.
2. Repayment:
When someone else fills in the phone number to apply for a credit card, they know it and give them a guarantee to get rid of it smoothly. In this case, the cardholder's credit card is not paid. If the cardholder loses contact within the time limit, the bank will only call the contact person to return the card for the cardholder. If the cardholder does not repay the money, he will also find an emergency contact to collect it, and even go to court to sue.
In short, if someone fills in my phone number with a credit card, as long as I am an emergency contact, there is nothing to worry about. The bank has no right to ask the emergency contact to repay the cardholder, but don't take any chances, because you may be constantly harassed by the bank, providing the cardholder's phone number and whereabouts.
