At present, most of the cards issued by domestic banks are free of annual fees in the first year, but not all of them. Even the cards issued by the same bank are different in specific relief provisions. Banks that are exempt from the annual fee after swiping their cards include Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, China Merchants Bank, China CITIC Bank, Industrial Bank, Huaxia Bank, Guangdong Development Bank and Shenzhen Development Bank.
