The validity period of peony credit card is generally not more than 5 years. The expired card can no longer be used, but the contract is still valid. If you need to continue to use your card, please apply for card replacement through online banking, card issuers or customer service hotline. If you don't want to change your card for the time being, please inform ICBC one month in advance, and ICBC will reserve the card number for you for a certain period of time; If you need to continue to use your card in the future, you can apply to ICBC for card replacement.

Two. Regulations of China Industrial and Commercial Bank on Changing Credit Cards upon Expiration

ICBC sets the validity period for Peony Credit Card. If it is necessary to continue to use it after the expiration, it shall go through the replacement procedures. ICBC has the right not to provide card replacement service for peony credit cards that are not activated within the validity period. The expired peony credit card can no longer be used (except income) before going through the relevant formalities in accordance with the regulations of ICBC. If you don't go through the formalities of replacing the new card in time, Peony Credit Card can't be used normally, and the losses arising therefrom shall be borne by you. The articles of association, employment contract and other business terms are still valid for the expired Peony Credit Card, and China Industrial and Commercial Bank continues to reserve the management right and recourse right for the expired Peony Credit Card. If China Industrial and Commercial Bank can't change the card due to the termination of cooperation with the partner, credit card organization or company, China Industrial and Commercial Bank can issue other cards with the same credit rating. If you don't renew your card or stop using peony credit card, you still have to pay off the debt owed by the card.
