If the credit card of China Bank is lost or stolen, you can call the customer service hotline of China Bank to report the loss. Telephone loss reporting is a formal loss reporting, and no written confirmation is required. The bank shall bear the responsibility for the loss of credit cards after the loss reporting procedures take effect. After the loss of the primary card is reported, the secondary card can continue to be used, and vice versa.
2. Replace the damaged card
Please take good care of your credit card. If the user's card is damaged and can no longer be used, the user can call the bank's customer service hotline, and the bank's customer service staff will handle the replacement procedures for the damaged card. Please destroy the damaged card after receiving the new card to avoid confusion and risk.
3. Replace the card when it expires
The validity period of each China Bank credit card is stamped on the card face. Please pay attention to the validity period of the credit card held by the user. If the user does not need to renew the card after expiration, please inform the bank within the specified time before expiration, otherwise it will be deemed that the user is willing to continue to use the card and pay the annual fee. The bank will make a new card for the user and send it to the user one month before the expiration date.
After receiving the new card, please sign your name in the signature column on the back of the card immediately, and then complete the card opening procedure. Please destroy the old card yourself.
If the user cannot receive a new card one month before the expiration date for any reason and needs to change the card in advance, please call the bank's customer service hotline, and the bank will verify the user's identity as soon as possible and handle the relevant audit. After the approval, the new card will be sent out later.
4. Emergency overseas card replacement
When traveling abroad, if the card is lost or stolen, please call the bank customer service hotline to report the loss. The bank will immediately report the loss for the user, and the loss will take effect immediately.
If the user's MasterCard is accidentally lost abroad, the user can call the bank customer service hotline or MasterCard overseas service hotline to apply for emergency card replacement service.
When applying for an emergency replacement card, please confirm that you can stay at the same place for more than 48 hours, so that foreign card issuers can contact users and issue cards in time.
The emergency replacement card is only for the cardholder's own use, and valid identity documents are required when handling the card.
Emergency replacement cards are generally valid for three months, and will automatically expire after expiration. In order to ensure the safety of users, please destroy the invalid cards by yourself.
A certain handling fee is charged for overseas emergency card replacement according to the regulations of mastercard international, and $175 is charged for each successful card replacement; If it is not successful, each card will be charged 50 dollars.
5. Emergency cash compensation
If the card is lost or damaged, and the user needs to pay urgently, domestic users can apply for emergency card replacement service from the local China banking institution or call the bank's customer service hotline for help. Outside China, you can also call the service hotlines of Visa and MasterCard to apply for emergency supplementary services.
6. Cancel the account
When users need to cancel their accounts, they can call the customer service hotline to pre-cancel their accounts, and then stop spending by credit card or withdrawing cash (except repayment). If there is a balance in the card, he can handle the "cancellation of credit balance return" transaction 45 days after the pre-cancellation, and withdraw the balance for free.
