1. Credit card applicants should provide identification documents.
Domestic residents: a copy of the applicant's ID card or military officer's card.
Overseas residents: Hong Kong and Macao residents provide photocopies of passports, Taiwan Province residents provide photocopies of Taiwanese certificates, and other foreigners provide photocopies of passports.
Note: Overseas personnel are registered in other places, overseas personnel apply for jobs locally, and active military officers apply for credit cards in their own names. Some card-issuing banks may require temporary accounts issued by local public security departments or certificates (including work certificates) issued by relevant departments.
2. Also provide proof of work and income to the bank.
Work certificate: copy of work permit or work identity certificate or original work certificate stamped with the official seal of the unit.
Income certificate: the salary record of the last three months issued by the bank (copy of salary card statement) or the copy of personal income tax withholding certificate issued by the unit or the original income certificate.
3. Personal assets certificates and other supporting documents are also helpful to apply for credit cards.
