If you apply for a CMB credit card through the counter, it usually takes 10 working days from the time your application materials are received by the auditing department to the time your credit card is audited. After approval, we will make a card for you within 2 working days, and then send it to you by registered mail according to the billing address. Generally, the sending time of registered letters is 15 days.

If we make an appointment to register online/by mobile phone, we will need 7 working days for the preliminary examination. If the preliminary examination is successful, we will contact you by phone to arrange a door-to-door card or send you a text message, and hold an ID card for an interview at the outlet of China Merchants Bank where our unit works within 30 days. If it fails, you will be notified by SMS. If you apply for a second card, you can generally check the application progress within 5 working days after submitting the application directly online.
