(China Merchants Bank) Credit card opening bank name rules:

All China Merchants Bank credit cards are issued by the Shanghai Credit Card Center. You can write the name of any branch of our bank as the opening bank.

If there is a China Merchants Bank in the place of transfer, you can write the name of the local branch.

For example, if you transfer funds from Beijing to China Merchants Bank with a credit card, you can write "China Merchants Bank Beijing Branch Sales Department" as the credit card's opening bank. To transfer money by credit card from a place where China Merchants Bank is not available, you can write "China Merchants Bank Shanghai Branch Sales Department" or other branch names.
