Users who use the credit card of China Everbright Bank know that users need to pay back on time after spending by credit card. If they can't repay on time, there will be overdue records. For cardholders, overdue credit cards are something that every user doesn't want to see, because overdue credit will not only have a negative impact on cardholders' personal credit, but banks will also impose penalty interest on users. If it is overdue for a long time, it will be stopped by the bank and even sued by the bank.
At present, China Everbright Bank provides credit card users with a three-day repayment grace period. If the user repays on the third day after the repayment date, then Everbright Bank will be counted as the user's repayment on time, which has no impact on the credit of the cardholder and the user does not need to pay the overdue fee. If the user fails to repay the loan within the repayment grace period, the bank will regard the user as overdue, upload the overdue record to the credit information system and collect the overdue fee. It does not mean that the bank will stop the card as long as the user has overdue behavior. Generally speaking, the bank will stop the card only if it is overdue for many times or for a long time. Usually, the credit card users of China Everbright Bank are overdue for two months, so the bank will freeze the cardholders' credit cards. If the overdue time reaches six months, the user will be pulled into the credit blacklist.
What should I do if Everbright Credit Card freezes beyond the time limit?
If the cardholder is overdue for a long time, causing Everbright Bank to freeze the user's credit card, then the cardholder should repay the overdue amount as soon as possible. After paying off the credit card arrears, users can call the customer service hotline of China Everbright Bank to explain the overdue situation to the bank and apply for unfreezing. The bank will review the user's application. As long as the overdue situation is not particularly serious, the bank will unfreeze the cardholder and resume financial functions such as consumption and cash withdrawal after the credit card is thawed. The cardholder needs to continue to use the card and keep the repayment record, because the user's previous overdue record is uploaded to the credit record. General credit records will be kept for 5 years, and bad records will be deleted after 5 years. The credit report can only show the credit situation of users in the last two years, and users can cover up their previous bad records with good credit records.
