You need to bring the original ID card to the counter of China Merchants Bank (both in the same city and in different places) for face-to-face signing.

The time limit for face-to-face interview is 30 days or 60 days (subject to SMS prompts). Failing to apply for a face-to-face interview within the time limit is regarded as an automatic waiver of the credit card application, and the credit card application cannot be submitted again through online channels within 90 days.
