Student Card is a card for students or the user is a student.
According to different classification methods, there are currently the following types:
Student credit cards
Some banks will launch credit cards for students, but since students do not yet have financial autonomy , so the bank will grant a lower limit, usually only 20,000 to 50,000 yuan. Students with a fixed income can also prepare separate proof of income to apply for a higher credit limit from the bank. Students can first use their student cards to establish good credit with banks, and then they can increase their credit limit and become general card holders after they go out into society.
Student bus card
A bus card mainly for primary and secondary school students. It is a type of bus card. Taking into account the characteristics of students who go to and from school frequently, it is specially designed for students and is cheaper than ordinary bus passes. Generally, you need to hold a student ID card to apply, and an annual inspection is required at the end of each year, otherwise it will be reverted to an ordinary bus card.
Student mobile phone cards

Campus Student Card
After digital construction, many schools now issue student cards. Money is stored in the student card and can be used to pay for most or all consumption on campus. This kind of student card is equivalent to the bank card on campus, and in actual use, it is often directly linked to the student bank card. Since the campus student card is unique to each student, it can be used instead of the student ID card on campus or in some recognized public places.
Principles for selecting student credit cards
In foreign markets, the student credit card business has become mature. Data show that as early as 2002, the proportion of college students in the United States with credit cards was as high as 83%. It has grown to 50 universities, sales revenue of 2 million, and the average bad debt rate has remained at a fairly low level. There are currently 19 million college students in our country, and the college student credit card market has huge room for development. The proportion of college students holding cards in mainland my country has also increased significantly in recent years, from 15.1 in 2006 to 24 in 2007. Many domestic banks have launched Student credit card.
Faced with numerous credit cards, credit cards are neither “the more the merrier” nor “use them all”. Students should pay attention to the following aspects when choosing a credit card:
(1) Annual fee. Different banks and different types of credit cards have different annual fee and annual fee exemption regulations. For ordinary students, it is important to save some money. When applying for a credit card, you must first understand the annual fee regulations.
(2) Credit limit. Banks will state the maximum credit limit when advertising credit cards, but the credit limit will not be very high for ordinary students. Of course, generally speaking, the higher the credit limit, the better.
(3) Convenience of repayment. Choose a bank with many branches and automatic deposit machines, or handle linked accounts, online repayments, inter-bank transfers, convenience store repayments, etc. Banks with more repayment methods are of course more beneficial to cardholders.
(4) Installment payment. Each bank has different rates, so you can save a lot of money by choosing a bank with lower fees. For example, if a *** spends 3,000 yuan and repays in 12 installments, one bank charges a fee of 0.5 per period and another needs to charge a fee of 0.72 per period, then the former needs a handling fee of 180 yuan and the latter needs a handling fee of 259.2 yuan, the difference between the two is 79.2 yuan.
