Activating the CCB car purchase installment card without setting a password may affect consumption, but will not affect repayment. The steps to set the password are as follows:

1. Telephone settings: You can call 40088-95558 to set/modify/reset the transaction password through the automatic voice service; if you forget the credit card transaction password, you can call through the menu " Personal information modification and transaction password setting, etc." to reset your credit card transaction password. Select 1→3→2 to set the phone service password and select 1→3→3 to set the transaction password.

2. ATM machine settings: You can also modify them through any CITIC Bank ATM machine.

3. Online banking settings: Log in to CITIC Credit Card online banking to modify it yourself.

4. Quick online banking settings: Log in to online banking, click Forgot Password on the login interface, reset the phone service password according to the prompts, select Personal Settings → Set Transaction Password → Reset.

5. If you receive a new credit card, you cannot set a password on the ATM machine. You need to call 40088-95558 and press 1 and then 2 to open the card. Subsequently, you can dial 40088-95558153 to set a password, and then select 1 after 40088-95558154 to set up consumption with password and signature. Only after setting the transaction password can it be modified at the ATM machine.
