At present, five banks, including ICBC, Shanghai Bank, China Everbright Bank, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and Shenzhen Development Bank, all have life-long annual fee-free credit card products. For example:

ICBC's Shanghai Peony Express Card (a credit card), Shanghai Pudong Development Bank's Maidou Card 17 were issued in July, and China Everbright Bank's Beijing Housing Special Maintenance Fund Card was free of annual fees for life.

In Shenzhen Development Shanghai Youth Card, if the cardholder chooses to use the credit card function, and is in the study period of full-time students, as well as the extremely poor youth and outstanding youth recognized by the Communist Youth League Committee, the bank will be exempted from the annual fee, and if the cardholder chooses the debit card function, no annual fee will be charged.

Other credit cards of Shanghai Bank, except Xingyun and Xinya, are free of annual fees for life, while Xingyun series credit cards are free of annual fees for six times in the first year, Xinya 1 time.
