3) Receive tax refund
If you are departing from Changi Airport, you can choose whether to receive the tax refund by credit card or cash.
If you are departing from Seletar Airport, Singapore Marina Bay Cruise Center or the International Ferry Terminal at Harborside Centre, you can choose whether to receive your tax refund by bank check or credit card.
If you choose cash tax refund, please bring the notification slip to the central tax refund office located in the departure transit hall (after completing departure procedures) to collect cash.
If you choose to receive your tax refund by credit card, you can board your flight after submitting your tax refund application at the eTRS service desk. The refund amount will be credited to your designated credit card within 10 days.
If you choose to receive your tax refund by bank check, you need to fill in your name and mailing address on the notice, and put the notice into the check tax refund box. The bank check will be mailed to you after 14 days.
