Supplementary card applicant qualification
Personal master card holders can apply for supplementary cards for designated natural persons with full capacity for civil conduct or with limited capacity for civil conduct over 15 years old. If the supplementary card applicant is under the age of 18, the consent of his legal representative must be obtained.
The applicant for the supplementary card must be the immediate family members of the owner of the main card, that is, the husband (wife) and children.
The cardholder of the main card bears all the debts incurred by the supplementary card.
Compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan do not need to pay a deposit, which is equivalent to the same conditions for mainland residents.
Channels for obtaining application forms: customers can obtain publicity materials and application materials from bank outlets, or from local Taiwanese business associations, overseas Chinese affairs offices and other cooperative units.
