2. Counter handling at bank outlets: Cardholders can bring their ID cards and credit cards to the counters of CCB card-issuing banks and apply to the staff for cancellation of credit card accounts.
After the cardholder applies for canceling the credit card, CCB will not cancel the account immediately. It usually takes some time to check whether the customer's card has overpayment and outstanding debt. This time is generally 45 days. After 45 days, it is confirmed that the card has no arrears and overpayments, and then it is officially cancelled.
