Credit cards are generally applied for at the place where you work. You can apply at any local Shanghai Pudong Development Bank branch.

1. There are two main requirements for credit card application:

1. Age requirement: 18-60 years old;

2. Have a stable job and source of income .

2. Materials and documents required for application:

1. Domestic residents only need to provide: a completed and signed application form, identity document, and residence certificate document , Income certification documents;

2. Foreigners and people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan also need to provide: Foreigner’s residence permit (the reason for residence must be employment) or employment permit for foreigners/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan;

3. If you are a private owner, in addition to the above information, you must also provide: a copy of the industrial and commercial business license showing the applicant’s name, company name and date of business commencement.

If you want to apply for a credit card with a relatively large limit, you need to provide proof of good financial strength, such as: a copy of the real estate certificate, a copy of the car driving license; a bank loan account (with good credit, no more than 60 days) or a copy of the deposit receipt, etc.

1. Application on the official website of bank credit card;

2. Application at bank business outlets;

3. Application by bank credit card staff;

4. Apply on WeChat, Alipay and other platforms.
