In China, the age limit for applying for a credit card is generally between 18 and 65 years old. Some banks may relax the upper age limit to 60 years old.

This age range is mainly due to the fact that banks will consider the applicant's credit status and financial ability when approving credit cards. Normally, young people are more energetic and economically active, and are easier to get approved.

This does not mean that applicants above this age range cannot apply for a credit card. In fact, as long as the applicant can prove that he has a stable income and a good credit record, he can successfully apply for a credit card.
