There are two ways to report the loss of a credit card and replace it, and the information required is different: to report the loss over the phone, you need to provide the ID number and name and other relevant information for verification; to report the loss at the bank counter, you need to provide the cardholder’s ID card to report the loss.

Report loss by phone:

1. Report loss by customer service phone: Dial the customer service number on the back of your credit card, enter the loss reporting area, and submit a loss report request to the bank’s credit card customer service. The customer service will ask you to provide your ID number. and name for verification. Once the verification is passed, your credit card can be reported as lost.

2. Credit card loss reporting is a fee-based service (contact the bank customer service for specific fees). The fee for reporting loss is RMB 60 per card. If you need to apply for a new card after reporting the loss, you will need to pay an additional RMB 15 per card. Card reissue fee: The reissued credit card will be mailed to your billing address in about ten working days. If express delivery is required, a courier fee of 20 yuan will be required.

Warm Tips:

1. Do not apply for multiple credit cards frequently because of giving gifts or collecting card faces. Please apply for cards rationally according to your own situation and do not be too blind.

2. If you apply for multiple cards, cancel multiple credit cards, and then want to restore the credit card, all the records will be recorded in the credit information system of the People's Bank of China.

3. Canceling and applying for a card too frequently will only affect your personal credit. Please be careful when applying for or canceling a card.
