According to the degree of frozen credit cards, frozen credit cards are mainly divided into the following three types:
1. Freeze All: that is, all the credit lines in the cardholder's credit card account are frozen, and they cannot be consumed or deposited.
2. Partial freezing: Since the balance in the credit card account has not reached the amount to be frozen, the cardholder can also deposit money in it until the amount to be frozen is reached.
3. Single freezing: only credit card withdrawals are frozen, but credit card deposits are not frozen. In other words, credit cards cannot be overdrawn, but money can be put in.
Second, the main reasons for freezing credit cards
1. Overdue repayment: If the credit card is overdue for a long time, the bank will generally assume that the cardholder has malicious overdraft behavior and the credit risk is high, and will generally unilaterally terminate the use of the credit card.
2. Suspected cash withdrawal: If cardholders often use POS machines for large-scale consumption or cash withdrawal, this will cause banks to doubt the credit of cardholders and will generally be frozen.
3. Credit card stolen: When a credit card is lost or stolen, in order to prevent losses caused by theft, the general cardholder will ask the card-issuing bank to freeze the credit card, and in some cases, the card-issuing bank will take the initiative to freeze the cardholder.
