How to handle the credit card of China Merchants Bank?
According to Article 7 of the Credit Card Charter of China Merchants Bank (Ninth Edition):

China residents who have reached the age of 18 and have full capacity for civil conduct and good credit standing, foreigners with full capacity for civil conduct and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan with full capacity for civil conduct can apply for personal credit card master cards with their valid identity documents.

Personal cardholders can also apply for supplementary cards for specific natural persons with full civil capacity or natural persons with limited civil capacity. Supplementary card application materials must be confirmed by the main card holder by personal signature, customer service telephone recording, electronic signature or the way recognized by both the cardholder and the card issuer. The main cardholder can apply for cancellation of the supplementary card at any time.

The vice cardholder and the main cardholder share the same account credit line, and the main cardholder can set the usage limit of the vice card in a billing cycle within the account credit line. All transaction funds and corresponding interest and expenses of the main card and the auxiliary card are recorded in the same account, and the cardholder of the main card is responsible for all debts incurred under the main card and the auxiliary card.

Article 11?

IC cards of some card issuers not only support credit card accounts, but also support electronic cash accounts. Electronic cash account has all or part of the functions of electronic cash account transactions, such as small quick payment, balance inquiry and recharge, but it does not have other payment and settlement functions, such as overdraft, transfer and cash withdrawal.

E-cash account is anonymous, without loss reporting, interest payment and statement. Unless otherwise specified, all transactions mentioned in the Articles of Association are credit card account transactions.

Article 12?

Guarantee methods include: guarantee, mortgage and pledge. Where a guarantee is provided, the relevant parties shall sign a corresponding guarantee contract separately. The scope of guarantee covers all debts incurred under the cardholder's credit card (including but not limited to the principal and interest, liquidated damages, various handling fees and recourse fees for overdraft within the account credit limit and overdraft outside the account credit limit).

Article 13

After receiving the credit card, the cardholder shall immediately sign the same signature as the application form in the signature column on the back of the credit card, and use the same signature when using the credit card transaction, otherwise the losses arising therefrom shall be borne by the cardholder, unless otherwise agreed between the cardholder and the card issuing institution or stipulated by the accepting institution or bank card organization.

Some specially designed cards don't need to be signed on the back of the credit card, but they can be used normally after a password is set. The cardholder can set the password through the channel designated by the card issuer.
