If you are handling the first credit card of China Merchants Bank, it is not recommended to handle it in a place without outlets. For credit cards applied through online channels (except door-to-door application and professional application), you need to bring the original ID card (temporary id card can't handle it) to any counter of China Merchants Bank for face-to-face signing. Students need to apply at any branch school in the city where the school is located.

Failing to apply for face-to-face visa within the time limit shall be deemed as giving up the application for credit card. And you can't submit a credit card application again through online channels within 90 days.
