There are three major operators in Thailand: Truemove, AIS and DTAC (Happy Card), and each operator has introduced a card suitable for tourists who travel to Thailand for a short period of time ~~
Please note:
1. People often ask if they can use local cards for their mobile phones, saying that it involves various standards and frequency bands in detail, which is basically easy to be deceived. Here is a simple way to teach you. All mobile phones in China that can use Unicom cards can use Thai calling cards. The complicated way is to check the standard and available frequency band of your mobile phone first, and then compare the standard and frequency band of each card (indicated at the back of the article) to see if it can be used.
2. From April 215, the purchase of calling cards in Thailand requires registration in real-name registration system. If you buy a card locally, you need to show your passport and the staff will help you register. However, the cards bought by some merchants in Taobao have been registered, and they can be inserted and used when they arrive. Therefore, if island friends buy cards in Taobao before departure, remember to ask the seller whether they can insert the cards or whether they need to take their passports to register at the counter.
The signal of that card is good
It's almost the same as that of Unicom Telecom. Which signal is better ~
Taobao or local, where can I buy it locally?
If Apple is a mobile phone, buy it on Taobao, such as this one, because it will definitely work after Apple is installed and restarted. Because of the price war, Taobao sometimes sells less than its face value!
if it's an Android phone (Xiaomi users don't have to worry ~), some phones will have APN setting problems, and the airport will sell cards for fear that they can't handle it! There is a needle at the scene to help you change your card, one-stop, absolutely rest assured!
my card has been recharged. What if there is no signal?
most smart phones can automatically connect to the network once the card is plugged in and restarted (at the same time, you will receive a short message explaining the charges).
Some mobile phones can only make calls after being plugged in, but not connect to 4G, such as my mother-in-law's great Sony Android machine.
at this time, you need to set APN manually!
open the phone and find the option to create a new APN. The general path is (Settings-Mobile Network-Access Point Name-New APN), which is set according to the card type:
If you use a happy card
Name: Dtac

save and restart the phone;

You can go to 711 to buy a recharge card, ask the clerk to recharge it for you, or you can make a phone call to recharge it with a credit card, so I won't talk about it.
