Can I activate the credit card opening letter I applied for online if I lost it?

If the Bank of Communications credit card letter is lost, it can still be activated. You can activate it by phone or online. Take activation by phone as an example:

Activation process:

1. Please call the customer service hotline on the back of your credit card, select the appropriate language, and enter your 16-digit credit card number and query password.

2. Follow the voice prompts and select the card activation option under the "Card Activation Password Management and Other Services" menu.

3. Enter the last 3 digits printed on the signature field on the back of the card and press the # key to confirm.

4. Enter your home phone number or mobile phone number (there is no need to enter the telephone area code and extension number) and press the # key to confirm.

5. If the activation is successful, please enter 6 digits as your transaction password and press the # key to confirm.

6. Enter the 6-digit transaction password again and press the # key to confirm. This password is used for inquiries and cash withdrawals on various self-service machines, as well as for swiping card purchases at China UnionPay merchants. If you do not check "Use password to confirm transactions when swiping cards at China UnionPay merchants" on the application form, you do not need to enter the transaction password when making purchases. Please pay attention to card security. If you need to activate this function, you can complete the operation according to the voice prompts after the transaction password is set.
