The process for applying for Singapore EP is as follows:
1. First, you need to register an account on the Singapore Ministry of Labor website and fill in the application form. You need to submit personal and company information, including company name, registration number, business description, number of employees and other information.
2. Once you submit your application form, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide a list of all documents and materials that need to be submitted.
3. You need to prepare the following documents and materials:
(1) Passport (valid for at least six months)
(2) Company registration certificate
(3) Proof of identity of the company’s directors (e.g. passport copy)
(4) The company’s financial statements, including profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
(5) Relevant professional qualifications or academic certificates
4. Once you submit your complete application documents, it usually takes about three weeks for your application to be processed. If your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation letter for submitting your EP application.
5. Next, you need to pay the application fee. The amount of the fee depends on each applicant’s circumstances and is usually between SGD150 and SGD200.
6. If your application is approved, you will receive an email notifying you to travel to Singapore to collect your EP.
7. Before collecting your EP, you need to make an appointment and conduct an interview and collect fingerprints and other information at the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
