I. Registration
The certificate of origin shall be handled by the Commodity Inspection Bureau or the Council for the Promotion of International Trade. When you apply for issuing a certificate of origin, you need to register first, and then you can apply for issuing a certificate of origin according to normal procedures after you have verified that you meet the application qualifications. Registration usually takes 1-2 months. If your company has no import and export right or is not handled by the commodity inspection bureau, you can only find an agent to handle it, as long as you provide the packing list and invoice to the agent.
The certificate of origin shall be handled by the local commodity inspection bureau or the CCPIT! There are two ways to apply for a certificate of origin.
1. Your company/factory has import and export rights and is registered with the Commodity Inspection Bureau/CCPIT.
After filing, you can apply for the certificate of origin directly online after purchasing and installing the system. "
2. If your company doesn't have import and export rights and can't file with the Commodity Inspection Bureau/CCPIT, then you don't have to worry! In this case, you can find an agent in the Commodity Inspection Bureau/CCPIT to help you apply, and the effect of agent application is the same!
It costs a sum of money to register with the Commodity Inspection Bureau/CCPIT and buy a system. If it is usually small or large, but it is far from the Commodity Inspection Bureau/CCPIT, it is not convenient to handle it. You can find an intermediary to help you apply, and the price is not expensive. Generally, the certificate can be issued on the same day! If the usual volume is relatively large and it is convenient to handle it yourself, you can let the company register itself and apply for it yourself!
The difference between the two: the former is the director of our own company, and the latter's certificate is two directors, that is, the agency company O/B your company (O/B means agency, which means entrustment)! Generally speaking, whether it is your company's own head or the agent's double head, it will not affect the customs clearance (unless the letter of credit stipulates that documents made by third parties will not be accepted), as long as the packing list and invoice are enough, you can hand them over to the agent!
