The joint provident fund card is a joint bank card jointly developed by the housing provident fund management center and commercial banks (such as China Construction Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Bank of China), which can be used as an effective certificate for employees to pay the provident fund. Employees can use the co-branded card to inquire about the deposit, interest calculation, withdrawal and use of personal provident fund at the ATM terminal, but they cannot directly withdraw the provident fund from the card (the withdrawal approval procedures are required). In addition, the co-branded card also has the function of bank debit card, which can handle various banking services such as deposit and withdrawal, transfer and remittance, credit card consumption and so on.
